It was narrated t hat a man came to Ibn Mas`oud and said; I have a neighbor that hurts me, abuse me, and irritate me. He said: go (pardon me). If he disobeyed Allah regarding you, obey Allah regarding him. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: He will not move into Paradise whose neighbor is not secure from his wrongful conduct.
