| Robert Koch| Assignment #2| | This report is on Robert Koch. Robert Koch is a German bacteriologist who discovered anthrax disease, cholera, and bacteria that stird tuberculosis. Robert Koch was born on blood 11, 1843, at Clausthal in the Harz Mountains. He surprised his parents when he showed his parents that he taught himself to read at the age of five. He exceled through fall out high school and showed a liking to biology. In 1862 Koch went to the University of Göttingen to muckle over medicine. He studied anatomy under Jacob Henle, who seemingly influenced his scheme that was published in 1840 that infectious diseases were caused by living, leechlike organisms. He received his M.D. degree from the University of Gottingen in 1866, and trained at Hamburg customary Hospital. In 1870 Koch volunteered for service during the Franco- Prussian war.
